About — Architectural Photographer Roland Wimmer
I have a feel for design and light.

Approach
For me, photographing architecture means truly understanding a design.
I don't simply photograph spaces and buildings. I want to capture what makes them special: the idea behind them, the proportions, the material, the atmosphere. And the small things that often only become visible at second glance.
My aim is not to make a building look as spectacular as possible, but to show it the way it was conceived. I know when an image needs calm, when light brings a surface to life and when a single viewpoint is enough.
I don't just show what you designed. I show why it was designed exactly that way.
Who I work for
As an architectural photographer, I work for architecture firms, interior designers, developers, real estate companies, hotels and businesses – in Vienna, Upper Austria and internationally.
