Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by an external web hosting provider acting as a processor on my behalf. When the website is accessed, the web server automatically processes technically necessary information (so-called server log files): IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating system used. This data is required for the secure and stable provision of the website and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in a secure and functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are automatically deleted after a short time unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
The connection to this website is encrypted via SSL/TLS.
Contact form and email
If you send me an enquiry via the contact form or by email, I process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number, message) to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or the fulfilment of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) as well as my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Form enquiries are forwarded to me by email. Your data will be deleted as soon as the enquiry has been finally processed, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. tax obligations if a contract is concluded) prevent this. I do not pass on your data without your consent.
Cookies
This website does not use any tracking or marketing cookies. Only technically necessary cookies are used, for example for logging in to the website's administration area (§ 165(3) TKG 2021).
Visitor statistics (Koko Analytics)
To understand which content is of interest, I use the statistics plugin Koko Analytics. The analysis takes place exclusively on the server of this website; no data is transmitted to third parties. Koko Analytics does not set cookies and does not store IP addresses or any other personal data; only anonymous, aggregated values such as the number of page views and referring websites are recorded. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in privacy-friendly audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Fonts
The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from my own server. No connection is made to servers of Google or other font providers.
Spam protection
The Antispam Bee plugin is used to protect against spam. The check takes place locally on the server of this website, without transmitting data to external services. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in the trouble-free operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Links to social networks
This website contains links to my profiles on Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest. These are simple links, not embedded plugins. Data is only transmitted to the respective providers when you click on a link and visit the platform. The privacy policies of the respective provider apply to data processing on these platforms.
Data backup
To protect against data loss, backup copies of the website are created regularly. These may also contain data processed via the website. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in data security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
In principle, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please contact office@rolandwimmer.com.
