For Gahleitner Architekten, I photographed the law firm of Manfred Keller in Bregenz – offices meant to radiate calm and reliability without seeming stiff.
The material carries this task: exposed concrete on the ceiling and conference table, combined with wood panelling and moss-green sofas in the lobby. Hard and soft in alternation – that is exactly what makes the space pleasant rather than cold.
The file archive is also part of the series. A room you normally wouldn't photograph – but here it is designed and therefore worth showing.
With law firms, discretion is part of the job: no legible files, no screen contents, no people without consent.
